SERVICE GUIDES FOR VISITORS

1. READING

(1) REGISTRATION

Fill out an Application Form for Vistors at the Main Desk.

Service hours, 8:45am - 6:00pm

(August 1 to 31, 8:45am - 5:00pm)

(2) NOTES

• Our holdings mainly cover the fields in clinical and basic medicine.

Materials both in the reading room and stacks can be freely accessed, but are not to be checked out. More than one third of the books and journals are housed in the departments and not offered to visitors. So, when names of specific materials you wish to see are in hand, please contact us before a visit.

• Eating and drinking are permitted only in Browsing Room.
• Smoking and studying without using Library's materials are prohibited.

2. SERVICES OFFERED

(1) CONSULTATION

Please feel free to come to the Main Desk and ask for help when you:

• would like to find journal articles, books or special issues of journals about diseases of your interest.
• would like to know bibliographic items such as authors, titles, journal names, volumes, numbers, pages and publication years.
• would like to obtain information about organizations or researchers.

(2) PHOTOCOPYING

Photocopying can be done with costs to be covered by you. Both monochrome and color copying are offered. Please fill out an Application Form and read carefully the backside notices concerning copyright laws.
